How Do You Remove Drum Rollers From A Kenmore Dryer?
The sound of tumbling tennis shoes in a dryer when none are in it is a sign the drum rollers need to be replaced on the dryer. Two wheels are located at the rear of the dryer that suspend the drum. When they are worn, the drum will bounce and you will hear that unnerving sound. You can replace them once you know how to remove drum rollers from a Kenmore dryer. Disconnect the power supply to the Kenmore dryer by unplugging it from the wall outlet. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the front of the control console to the top of the dryer. Do not remove any wires from the control console. Use a screwdriver to remove the three screws at the rear of the dryer top. Pull the dryer top forward to release it from the retaining clips, and move the dryer top out of the way.
