Removing an ink stain from clothing can be quite a challenge. When an ink stain has dried, the task is even more difficult. Still, dried ink stains can be removed from clothing. Fold several pieces of paper towel and place it on a firm surface. Place the item with the ink stain on top. If you can tell which side of the fabric the ink stains are on, place the stain face down on the paper towels. Wet the sponge with water and dab the stain until no more ink comes out of the fabric onto the paper and sponge. Change the paper towel as many times as needed and rinse the sponge so that you do not spread the ink stain. Allow the clothing item to air dry. Using a clothes or hair dryer will set the stain, so let it dry naturally. Take more paper towel, fold it and place it on a firm surface, placing the stained clothing item on top.
