Try to catch the accident as soon as it happens. Place two dry paper towels over the puddle. Do not press down. Allow the paper towels to draw up as much urine as possible. Pour a generous amount of your vinegar mixture on the spot. Give it about 2-3 minutes to soak into your carpet. Then, place a dry rag or washcloth over the vinegar spot and press down,
