You can remove dish soap from a dishwasher by following these simple steps. Bail out as much water and suds from bottom of the dishwasher as possible using a large bucket or container. Dump the water and suds down the sink drain or down the toilet. Soak up any remaining water and suds in the bottom of the dishwasher with towels until you have removed as much of the water and suds as possible. Pour approximately 1 cup of cooking oil or white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher. Turn the dishwasher on and let it run for a few minutes. Open the dishwasher door and check the suds. If suds are still in the bottom of the dishwasher, add more cooking oil or white vinegar and start the dishwasher again. Cooking oil and white vinegar are proven bubble-killers.
