How Do You Remove Dirt Stains From Vehicle Floor Mats?
The floor mats inside any vehicle seem to attract stains. Dirty shoes rest and rub on them constantly. But your mats don’t always have to look filthy. Follow these steps to clean them properly and remove all staining. Remove the floor mats from the vehicle and place them on the ground. Use a butter knife to loosen up dirt and debris. Vacuum each floor mat thoroughly. Spray carpet cleaner over the entire floor mat. Let it soak for about 5 minutes. Fill a bucket with warm water and place it near the floor mats for easy access. Dip a scrub brush into the water. Scrub the floor mats with the brush in a circular motion. Use as little water as possible and be sure to wet the brush several times during cleaning. Your scrubbing and the water will help the cleaing solution remove the stains. Rinse the floor mats of any remaining cleaing solution. Use a hose on a low spray setting. Spray the floor mats very lightly. Take a clean towel and press out as much water as you can. Let the mats air-dry
