But the task can be completed safely using the proper method and materials. Work in a well-ventilated area when using acetone. Open a window or remove the glue outdoors to prevent inhaling hazardous fumes. Pour a small amount of the acetone to an old rag or cotton pad. Thoroughly apply it to the spot of Crazy Glue until it begins to soften. Lift the loosened glue with moderate pressure using the plastic scraper. Wrap the remainders in a paper towel and dispose of it. Wash the surface of the plastic with a cloth soaked in warm water to eliminate any remaining film or acetone.
