How Do You Remove Crazy Glue From Clothing?
When using Crazy Glue, it’s important to wear clothing that is already worn or stained to avoid having to wash out glue stains. But if you want to remove a stain caused by Crazy Glue, remove the stain as soon as possible to avoid permanent damage to the fabric. Use warm water, soap and nail polish remover (acetone based) when removing the stain. Always wash clothing after using nail polish remover to remove the chemical from the fabric. Place clothing in warm water. Add soap and agitate for several minutes. Remove clothing and wring out excess water. Lay damp clothing on a flat surface. Use a butter knife or the back of a spoon to remove as much of the crazy glue as possible. A dry cloth may also be used. Use these tools gently to avoid damaging the fabric. Apply a small amount of acetone-based nail polish remover to a cotton swab. Test an area of clothing (inseam or inside pocket) that is hidden to determine if the acetone will discolor the fabric.
