How Do You Remove Crayon Stains From Wood?

0

Sometimes the hardest stains to get out are the easiest, if you have the right trick! The easiest way to get crayon stains out of wood is by using wd-40! Who would’ve thought! I learned this by experience with my toddler boys who tend to color on the walls, furniture, and wood. Test a small spot of the wood with Wd-40 to make sure that it does not stain the wood. Make sure to test in a spot where it would not be noticeable just in case it does stain. Different woods react differently. Wipe off, if there are no effects, continue onto step 2. Simply put the wd-40 on the stain and wipe off with a dry cloth. Repeat this step as necessary to remove the stain. The wd-40 will leave the wood with an oily finish. To remove this oily residue, use a small amount of dish soap and water; rinse thoroughly. Your stain should be gone!
