How Do You Remove Crayon Stains From Tile Floors?
While tile floors are relatively easy to clean in general, getting your child’s crayoned artwork off of the tiles may prove to be a challenge. If you find a crayon marking, here are some simple steps to remove the stain. Spray the affected area with WD-40 or another car part lubricant. If the surface is heavily soiled, leave the lubricant on for 3 minutes. Wipe the area with a clean, soft cloth. If residue remains, wash the area with warm water and liquid dishwashing soap. Use a sponge and work the soap in a circular motion. Wipe the area dry.
