How Do You Remove Crayon Stains From Laundry?
It is disheartening when you find clothing that has been stained by crayons that were inadvertently left in clothing pockets. That is particularly true when the color of the crayon is bright red or orange. The good thing is that while it looks like a scary stain, crayon is generally easy to clean off of most fabrics. Most of the time, it is possible to remove crayon stains from laundry at home. In some instances, you may need to get the item professionally laundered. Lay the clothing item on top of a towel on a flat surface. Attempt to remove any remnants of the crayon that are left on the garment. Spray the crayon stain with a stain remover. Make sure that the stain is covered liberally. Allow it to sit on the garment for 20 minutes. Fill a large sink with warm water, one cap of laundry soap, and two tablespoons of dish washing detergent. Mix the laundry soap and dish washing detergent together. Add the stained clothing item.
