How Do You Remove Crayon Stains From Dried Clothes?
If you have kids, there’s a good chance that at some point during their growing-up years, you will experience the joys of cleaning crayon stains on their clothing. Crayons are wax-based, making it a challenge to remove once they get onto fabric. With a little patience, though, crayon marks can be removed using a few common household items and a lubricating spray that can be purchased from a hardware store. Rub an ice cube over the crayon stain to make sure it is as solid as possible. The ice cube will cool and freeze the crayon wax, making it much easier to remove. Scrape as much excess crayon from the fabric using a butter knife or other fine-edged object. Apply liquid dishwashing soap directly to the stain. The soap will fight the grease that is left behind from the crayon mark. Continue to rub the soap into the stain with a soft cloth. If the stain remains after applying the liquid dishwashing soap, spray WD-40 on the back of the stain. Rub the WD-40 into the stain with a soft cloth
