When crayons are in the hands of children, you never know where the colors may end up. It is rather easy to forget you are holding the crayon and accidentally strike your clothing with the crayon. It is also possible to leave a crayon in a pocket, only to have it melt and adhere to the clothing while in the washer and dryer. If you have already washed and dried the garment, it will be more difficult to completely remove the crayon stain, but it is not impossible. Place the stained piece of clothing on an ironing board and insert a paper towel both underneath the stain an on top of the stain. Make sure to put the bottom paper towel on the inside of the shirt or pants, under the stain, and not under the entire garment. Power on the iron and keep it at a lower temperature.
