How Do You Remove Crayola Stains From Wood?

0

I searched ‘how to’ to clean crayola stains from my wood desk and found an article that suggested using WD40. The WD40 DIDNT remove the stain. I recently bought a cook top stove from Sears. They gave me a cleaner – Cook Top Cleaning Creme – for the stove top. It works GREAT on the stove top. It also took the crayola stain off the desk without dulling or damaging the surface in any way. Apply some of the ‘Cook Top’ Cleaning Creme to the stained area. Wrap the damp dish cloth around your index finger. Rub the cleaning creme over the stained area in a circular motion or back and forth with the wood grain. After the stain is removed, wipe the area with the clean damp cloth and allow to dry. Some areas may need a second application, follow above steps. Eventually the crayon stain will dissappear. There should be no residue or dulling of the surface.
