How Do You Remove Chocolate Stains With Fels Naptha Soap?
Fels-Naptha soap has been used since 1893 to launder clothing. Back then, solvents in the soap did an especially good job of cutting grease and removing stains. Even today, some people make their own laundry detergent from Fels-Naptha soap by combining the grated soap with washing soda and water, but most people use the soap to pre-treat stains. The soap is particularly effective for removing greasy stains such as chocolate. Fels-Naptha soap is sold as a bar in the laundry aisle of the store. Wet the bar of Fels-Naptha soap by running it under warm water. Rub the soap bar across the stained area. Rub hard enough to work some soap into the stain. Wait several minutes, then add the treated garment to the wash. Launder as usual in cold, warm or hot water.
