How Do You Remove Car Dents With Dry Ice?

While a minor dent in a car isn’t a major problem, it does take away from its looks. Bringing your car to an auto repair shop can be expensive, and it may not be necessary. With just a few minutes of spare time, removing a dent is an easy fix that won’t cost a lot of money. Step 1 Put on protective gloves. Hold dry ice on the center of the dent for five to 10 seconds. Step 2 Remove the ice and allow it about a minute to fix itself. Step 3 Reapply the dry ice a second time if the dent is still there. Step 4 Allow it a minute for the rest of the dent to pop out. If it is still there, repeat this process until the dent is completely gone. Step 5 Wipe down the area once the dent is gone with a clean nonabrasive cloth.
