You’ve just lit your favorite candle sitting on your breakfast buffet. You come back an hour later and find that your fluffy little kitty has knocked over the candle and wax spilled all over your nicely painted wall. Let the candle wax dry completely on the wall if it has just recently been spilled. It may seem counter-intuitive but removal will be easier if it is dried before reheating. After the wax is completely dry, apply your paper towel or brown paper bag to the wall. Turn on your hair dryer or iron to a medium setting. If you are using a hair dryer keep it 5-6 inches away from the towel or bag and wave it around gently. If you are using an iron keep it moving over the towel or bag constantly to avoid burning the material. Watch for wax absorption through the layers as you heat it. After a few minutes you can remove the bag or towel and you will see the wax will be gone.
