How do you remove candle wax from a tablecloth?

0

Removing wax from a tablecloth, or any fabric, is easy with these three simple steps. Rub wax with an ice cube to make the wax harden. Once it is solid, scrape the wax with a spatula. You should not use a knife, or any other object that has a sharp edge, since it can catch the threads and ruin your tablecloth. Cover any remaining wax with paper towels. Place one on top of the stain, and one beneath the tablecloth. Gently press down on the paper towel with a warm iron. Do not use a hot iron, this will burn through the paper towel, and onto your tablecloth. Change the paper towels as often as needed, so the wax won’t seep through them and unto your iron. Sponge off remaining wax residue with any dry-cleaning solvent. Gently rub the tablecloth with a heavy-duty liquid detergent. You should try to wash the table cloth as soon after as possible.
