How Do You Remove Candle Wax From A Carpet?

0

Removing candle wax from a carpet is alot easier then I have ever imagined. I had this problem a while back when one of my dogs accidentally knocked over a burning candle on an end table on to my brand new carpet. Fortunately for him I was able to remove the stubborn stain. The first step to remove wax from a carpet is to plug in an iron, set it to cotton or low heat depending on what your iron settings are. Place an old washcloth, towel or paper towels over the area where the wax has dried up. After the iron has heated properly place the iron on top of the rag. The heat from the iron will melt the wax underneath allowing the rag to absorb the wax. Doing this may take a few tries but the wax should disappear from the carpet. Viola a fresh new carpet and peace of mind.
