Unscrew or pry off its front cover. Pull the ice bin out of the refrigerator unit. Disconnect any wires and fasteners, as necessary (refer to the owner’s manual). Step 3 Use a hair dryer to remove most of the frost and ice caked in the unit. Do not use sharp objects, such as a screwdriver or a knife, as this may damage the bin.
