How Do You Remove Burnt On Food From Pots And Pans?

0

Have you ever been so frustrated with cleaning out a burnt pot that you are tempted to just throw it away? Well give this a try before you toss your expensive stainless steel pot or well seasoned cast iron pan. Scrape of excess burnt food from pot using a spoon or spatula. Spray pot with oven cleaner. Do this by holding handle of pot and tilting it slightly away from you while spraying to avoid the fumes. You should be careful while doing this because oven cleaner is caustic. Let pot sit anywhere from 15 minutes to overnight, depending on the severity of the problem. Use a sponge or rag to simply wipe away the burnt food. Wash as usual.
