How Do You Remove Burned Food On Broiler Pans?
A broiler pan is a convenient way to get that charbroiled flavor of food without having to barbecue outside. But it’s so inconvenient to clean when you have burned food on it that you can’t remove. There comes a point when it’s almost easier to just throw the broiler pan away. Before you reach that boiling point, follow these different methods to remove burned food from your broiler pan. Remove the broiler pan from your oven immediately after cooking and add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar mixed with 2 tbsps. of sugar. Let the broiler pan sit for an hour then scrub lightly. Soak the broiler pan in club soda for a couple of hours. Scrub with a scouring pad and dishwashing liquid as usual. Mix powdered bleach and powdered detergent and pour the mixture in the warm broiler pan on top of the burned food. Take a hot, wet paper towel and cover the mixture.
