How Do You Remove Blood Stains From Wood?
Blood is a messy substance to clean up and can leave stains that are hard to remove no matter how much you scrub. You may know the rules for cleaning blood out of fabric, but when an accident leaves a stain on your hardwood floor or wooden kitchen table, you obviously can’t throw those materials into the washing machine. It is possible to remove blood stains from wood and make it look good as new again. Soak up as much of the blood as possible with a paper towel. Dip a washcloth in cold water and ring it out. It should be wet but not soaked. Too much water can run, taking the blood with it and contaminating other areas of the wood. Dab at the blood stains with the wet washcloth and gently scrub back and forth. Use a dry washcloth to dab the areas dry after you have scrubbed away as much as you can.
