Place cinder blocks or another object sturdy enough to support your weight on opposite sides of your freshly poured concrete. This will allow you to rest a wooden board on the two blocks and use this as a small bridge across the concrete. Locate the areas in the fresh concrete stained by birds. Adjust the “bridge” across the wet concrete, so you are able to reach the various stains. You will need to bend over to scoop up stains and smooth the concrete, so make sure you are able to get close enough to the stain to do so.
