How Do You Remove Baby Formula Stains?
Stains from baby formula seem impossible to remove. The stains leave behind a spot that is yellow, light or dark brown and completely ruin the look of baby clothes or your clothes. Many times if the clothes have been thrown in a clothes dryer or ironed, the heat will set the stain, but not always so it is worth a try. Wet the stain with plain warm water. Make a slightly watery paste of meat tenderizer and water. Use a powdered meat tenderizer with no coloring or flavoring. Powdered, unflavored, uncolored meat tenderizer is available in the grocery store. The enzymes in the meat tenderizer will work to break down the baby formula. Apply the paste to the stain. The fresher or newer the stain, the better the result will be. Wet a clean white rag with plain water and rub the paste into the stain.
