A leak in one of your car’s lines can be a costly problem. However, even after the repairs on your car are completed, the leak will often leave an unsightly stain on your driveway’s cement. Removing an antifreeze stain from concrete can be a time-consuming task, with multiple rounds of cleaning needed in some cases. Mix one part sodium citrate, six parts water and six parts glycerine in a mixing bowl. Add fuller’s earth until the mixture takes on a paste-like consistency. Apply a layer of the paste to the stain with the putty knife and allow it to dry. Apply a second layer of paste to the stain. Allow it to sit for one week. Sweep the paste to remove any loose, dry mixture. Wash away the remainder of the mixture with water. Repeat if necessary, until the stain is gone.
