Ingrown toenails, although not dangerous to our overall health, are extremely painful and quite bothersome. For several months, both my husband and I suffered from ingrown toenails which seem to ruin any type of horse play between us. Moments of laughter and goofing off were interrupted by shrieks of pain, a stream of blood, and a punch to my husband’s gut every time he “accidentally” stepped on my throbbing toe.
