How Do You Remove A Win32 Trojan Virus?
There are multiple types of Win32 trojan viruses that have been spread across the web. Many of them pose as anti-spyware programs but actually infect computers with viruses. While a legitimate spyware program is the best way to remove such viruses, you can perform the difficult task of removing one manually. Download the AutoRuns program from Microsoft (see Resources). This program detects all third-party, automatic-starting images installed on your computer. Extract the program from its ZIP archive and move it to your C drive. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode. Removing malware programs in Normal Mode can still allow them to regenerate their files. Open up the AutoRuns program from the AutoRuns folder in your C drive.
