Pain is an unpleasant sensation associated with a disease or an injury. Using TENS is one of the recommended methods by healthcare providers for pain management. During TENS therapy, electrodes deliver electrical impulses to nearby nerve pathways—which can help control or relieve some types of pain.” Shut the TENS unit off by pressing the “On/Off” button after using it for a treatment. Unplug the lead wires from the device by pulling on the insulated connector. Then detach the lead wires from the electrodes. To prevent damaging the wire and electrode, do not pull on the lead wire. Peel off the electrodes carefully from your skin and then put them back to the liner. Store the electrodes in the resealable bag at room temperature. Do not leave the package open to prevent the electrodes from drying out. Clean your skin thoroughly with mild soap
