How Do You Remove A Red Wine Spill?

0

Red wine has a nasty reputation as being an impossible stain to remove. I am sure if you have a house with white carpets you are especially hesitant to serve red wine at your social events. But I am here to say that there is an easy solution. Spill some red wine on your Mother-in-law’s favorite table linen, no problem! Dribble alittle Cab on your blouse, no problem! With some common household ingredients and a little elbow grease that red wine stain will be history. Immediately soak the stain with white wine. Go ahead and use your old white wine, age does not matter. Plus you want to save the good stuff to drink! Pour salt on the spot and rub gently. Use enough salt to cover the area. Be especially gentle with delicates, I would blot any delicate fabrics. Use a sponge to soak up the salt and wine. Rinse the sponge and repeat. Keep repeating until stain is history.
