How Do You Remove A Petrol Stain Smell?
While stains can be somewhat difficult to remove from clothing, odorous smells from strong chemicals can be a big challenge as well. If you spill gasoline on your clothing, follow a few easy steps to rescue the garment and remove the petrol smell. Sprinkle the stain with baking soda. The baking soda will absorb the excess oil from the stain, making the garment easier to clean. Soak the stain with baby oil and allow it to sit for an hour. Wash your garment. Put your stained clothing in the washer, separate from your other clothes. Set the washer to a standard wash with hot water, and use your normal detergent to clean the clothing. Once the wash cycle is finished, remove your garment from the washer and hang it on a clothesline in a well-ventilated area to dry.
