How Do You Remove A Nissan Carburetor?
Removing the carburetor on your Nissan isn’t complicated. Nissan carburetors sit on top of the engine intake manifold. The carburetor is one of the first things you’ll see when you pop the hood. Repair shops will charge a lot for a job you can do in around 10 minutes. Step 1 Park your Nissan on level ground and make sure you have good lighting. Let the car cool for about an hour before you start working. Step 2 Remove the hoses connected to the carburetor using a pair of pliers. Place a strip of masking tape onto each hose and label them for reconnection later. Step 3 Remove the bolt securing the carburetor to the engine intake manifold using the ratchet set. Step 4 Pull the carburetor off of the engine intake manifold.
