If you decide that you no longer want the webcam on your computer, you need to know how to remove a Logitech webcam so that all of the software is removed and wiped clean from your computer. Follow these easy steps to remove the cam and software. Step 1 Disconnect the webcam USB cord from your computer. Step 2 Close all applications using the webcam. Close the software that is running in the background for the Logitech webcam. Do this by opening the Task Manager. Press “CTRL+ALT+DELETE.” Step 3 Look in the Task Manager window under “Processes” for Logitech or Quickcam. Highlight the item and click “End Task.” Step 4 Open your Control Panel from the Start menu. Look under “Add/Remove Programs” and click this section. After the window opens, find Logitech. Highlight this section and click “Remove.” This starts the un-install process of the webcam.
