How Do You Remove A Honda CR-V Radio?
The Honda CRV is a popular small SUV produced by Honda Motors. The CRV comes equipped with a factory radio and speakers, but audio enthusiasts who wish to improve the performance of their car sound system will often replace the existing radio with a higher-performance aftermarket model. A necessary first step to this process is the removal of the existing factory radio. Step 1 Take out any media (CDs, tapes, etc.) from the CRV factory radio, then turn off the vehicle power. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any electrical shorts while you’re working on the radio. Step 2 Locate two Phillips screws below the vents in the center of the dash (below the radio). Remove the screws. Step 3 Pry around the edges of the trim panel surrounding the radio with your panel tool. When all the clips are released, pull the trim panel off and set it aside.
