How Do You Remove A Headlight On A Chrysler Aspen?
The Chrysler Aspen, introduced for the 2007 model year and discontinued after 2009, had a very short production cycle. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of these rebadged Dodge Durangos on the road. If you’ve tried to replace your Aspen’s headlight, you’ve probably noticed that the assembly seems to be stuck. It’s not stuck–there is hidden nut that must be removed before the headlight can come out. Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake. Look directly in front of the wheel (on the plastic fender liner) to find the wing nut access door. Pry open the bottom part of this door with a flat-head screwdriver. Behind the door, you’ll find a wing nut. Twist it counterclockwise with your hand to remove it. Open the hood fully. Look above the headlight to find two bolt-screws. Remove them with a Phillips screwdriver or a socket wrench. Tug the headlight to remove it from your Aspen.
