How Do You Remove A Dashboard From A Subaru Justy?
The dashboard from a Subaru Justy is held in place with several screws, screw bolts and numerous retaining clips. While the process is generally the same for all years of the Justy, the specific location of the screw bolts and retaining clips, as well as the number of both, varies depending on the year of the vehicle. A basic set of tools are needed to remove the dash, and it may be helpful to have an assistant help you for the actual removal. Open the driver and passenger side doors and remove the screws on the ends of the dash on both sides with a screwdriver. Remove the screw bolts on the driver’s side and passenger side kick panel (underneath the dashboard). Remove the center trim bezel around the radio and HVAC controls by prying up on the bezel with a trim removal tool. Wedge the tip of the tool underneath the bezel and pry up to remove the bezel. Pry up on the defroster vents on the top of the dash at the windshield with a trim removal tool and remove the vents. Remove the screw
