How Do You Remove A Chain Link Fence?
Chain link fences are great for keeping animals and people in (and out of) your yard. They’re not very attractive, however, and you may want to replace your chain link fence with a nice wooden privacy fence. Taking out the old fence can be strenuous work, but you need to remove it in order to install your new privacy fence. Use wire clippers or bolt cutters to cut the clips holding the fence to the posts. Remove all the clips and proceed along the length of the fence, allowing it to fall as you clip each section. Roll up all the chain link fencing. If it’s a very long length, cut it into more manageable sections using your wire clippers. Wet the dirt surrounding the posts. This will help soften the ground and make digging out the concrete much easier. Wet a few posts at a time so the sun doesn’t evaporate the water and dry the dirt out again.
