How Do You Remove A Ball Point Pen Stain From Leather?
Leather is usually considered an investment. Yet even if you have given your leather jacket or sofa the time, care and attention it deserves, accidents are inevitable. Particularly when it comes to leaky pens, which can leave stains that seem nearly impossible to remove. But do not fret. With prompt attention and a little patience, using common household cleaning agents and a few rags, your leather items will be good as new. Isolate the stain. You don’t want to apply the chemicals anywhere other than where you need them. Dip a Q-Tip or rag in your chosen chemical. Tea tree oil or rubbing alcohol are good choices. Perfume also works fabulously if you happen to have it on hand, though be sure to test it on an obscure part of your leather item for colorfastness. Rub firmly at the stain. Step back and take another look. By this point it should be fading. Keep going as needed.
