Removing 4-by-8 exterior siding can be dangerous if not done correctly. The process should be approached as a dismantling project, instead of demolition. More or less care can be taken to protect the siding if it is to be discarded or saved to reuse after removal. Remove any items hanging on the interior walls that will have the siding removed.
