Breast pain during pregnancy is caused by your body’s hormonal levels increasing, which is normal in pregnant women. The tissue in your breasts are changing, and the milk ducts are producing cells to help feed your baby when it is born. Your breasts may swell, and they may feel sensitive and sore. This pain usually starts early in the pregnancy and lasts through the first trimester. However, it can sometimes last through the entire pregnancy. There are several things that you can do to help relieve breast pain during pregnancy. Wear a bra that provides good support for your breasts.
