“In this clip we are going to talk about the proper way to reinstall the components you removed to gain access to your valve cover. The technique that I like to use whenever I’m reassembling miscellaneous components is to start at one side of the engine compartment and move across it and the front. It is not a good idea to hop scotch around; if you do, you may miss something. What I’m going to do is start right here with my power steering pressure line. I’m going to take it and start my bolts in it. You want to make sure to start both bolts before you tighten them down, and that will aid you to lining the holes up. Get my speed wrench here. These are not a hardened bolt and we are screwing into aluminum. It is becoming a more and more popular metal for engine components, so you want to be gentle.
