How Do You Reinstall Apple Itunes?
Macintosh users organize their music files with Apple iTunes, a music library management program included in all versions of the Mac OS X operating system. As a last resort, you may need to completely uninstall and reinstall Apple iTunes in order to solve problems with the application. Uninstalling Apple iTunes involves removing the application as well as invisible helper and preference files. Open your Web browser and go to the iTunes download page (see Resources). Click on the large “Free Download” button on the left side of the window. Indicate whether you want to receive iTunes emails and Apple emails. If you do, enter your email address in the text box. Click the blue “Download Now” button. Double-click on “iTunesX.dmg” to mount it to your Desktop.
