How Do You Reformat A Dell Computer With Windows XP?
Reformatting your Dell computer with Windows XP allows you to create a new hard drive partition and essentially “start over” on your computer and hard disk. While it will take several minutes to run through the wizard involved, you will not need to have special training or existing knowledge to complete the reformatting process yourself. All you will need on hand is your Windows XP CD and a CD, flash drive, or zip disk for backup storage. Back up any files and data you wish to keep before reformatting your Dell computer. Use a CD, flash drive or zip disk to do so. Insert your Windows XP CD into your Dell computer. Restart your computer. Wait for the “Welcome to Setup” page to load after your computer restarts.
