How Do You Refill Dell Inkjet Cartridges?
Refilling home inkjet printer cartridges is popular with consumers who do not want to purchase expensive replacement cartridges. With a basic thumb screwdriver, printer ink and a plastic syringe, you can easily refill multiple Dell cartridges and resume printing quickly. Drill a small hole on the top-center of the Dell inkjet cartridge using the thumb screwdriver. Fill the plastic syringe with 10 cc of black printer ink. Insert the end of the syringe into the drilled hole and push it as far down into the cartridge as possible. Slowly release all of the ink in the syringe. Place the cartridge ontop of several layers of paper towels to prevent the ink from dripping onto the surface below. Be sure that the head of the cartridge does not touch the paper towels or it will draw out the ink. Allow the cartridge to soak up all of the ink for eight hours before using.
