The Brother MFC-240C all-In-one color inkjet printer uses the refillable LC51 ink cartridge. Instead of buying a new ink cartridge every time you run out of black or color ink, you can save money by purchasing a refill kit and refilling the ink cartridge yourself. The refill kit will come with most of the important tools you need to refill the cartridge. Remove the ink cartridge from the printer. Cut the paper label on the cartridge where it meets the joint. Flip open the cartridge casing and remove the cartridge. Drill through the rubber stopper with a thumb drill. There is a small hole on top of the cartridge that is called the “well.” The rubber stopper is inside the well. Attach the blunt filling needle to the syringe, then fill it with ink.
