The administrator account has complete privileges to a computer running Windows XP Professional. If the administrator password is lost or forgotten, some functions such as software upgrades and creating new user accounts may not be available. Recovering any user passwords on Windows XP requires the use of third-party software to decrypt the keys in the security file named SAM. The SAM file contains both the administrator account and all local user accounts on the computer. Download and install the L0pthCrack software on the Windows XP Professional computer.
