If you have mistakenly deleted a JavaScript file that you still need for whatever website you are currently working on, there is the possibility that you can recover the file. A deleted file remains in your computer’s memory until a specific area on the hard drive is overwritten with other information. As long as you act quickly enough and use a file recovery utility, you can retrieve your lost JavaScript file and return to your web programming. Navigate your web browsing program to the link in the Resources section for the PC Tools File Recover software. Click on the utility’s download link and then open up the installation file if you don’t have another recovery program on your computer. Follow the installation instructions on the screen.
