How Do You Recover From A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm Or Stroke?
My journey began with a ruptured brain aneurysm which resulted in a stroke. Until that time I had no health problems at all, no surgery, no scary diseases – absolutely nothing. In fact, I was working out at the gym when my life changed forever. I had the luck (if you can call it that) of being airlifted to a major Philadelphia hospital with a top notch Neurosurgeon group. After my several week stay in intensive care (I don’t remember anything except the last day there) I was taken to a rehabilitation hospital as I needed help walking in a straight line! (among other things). It is very scary to realize you are a different person-I was actually someone that I didn’t know–familiar but no longer the me that I knew!
