Multimedia cards come in all forms. Two common cards are SD, or Secure Digital cards and USB flash drives. SD cards fit into digital cameras and other electronics, allowing you to save pictures and other data, so that it can be transferred to a computer. A USB flash drive allows you to transfer images, videos and other data to and from computers, the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. Install the free EASEUS Deleted File Recovery to recover files (see “Resources”). Choose the multimedia drive from the drive selector. Pictures of your deleted multimedia files will display below. Select which files you want by clicking on them. Press the “Restore” button to retrieve them. Transfer deleted multimedia files back onto the multimedia card with the free downloadable program Recuva. Choose your multimedia card from the selection drop box at the top of the program. The deleted files will be listed below the drive selector box. Click on the files you wish to recover and click “Restore.”
