How Do You Record What Is Playing On Computer Speakers With Microsoft Sound Recorder?
If you use a computer with Windows, Microsoft’s Sound Recorder software is probably on your machine. It’s simple to use, but the program records for a maximum of 60 seconds only. If you want to record more, consult Microsoft’s website (see the Resources section) for detailed instructions on how to increase the maximum recording time. Open Sound Recorder on your PC by clicking on “Start,” then “All Programs.” Next, select “Accessories,” then “Entertainment” and “Sound Recorder.” Open your sound source, such as Windows Media Player, iTunes or the website that you would like to record. Press “Record,” the red button on Sound Recorder. Begin playing the track that you want to record. Stop the recording when you’re finished or when you have reached the maximum time limit of 60 seconds.
