But if you record using image stabilization, you will be rewarded with a clear, steady image, even if your hand is a bit shaky. The wonderful thing about image stabilization is that it allows you more opportunities to shoot without using a tripod. If possible, find the instruction manual that comes with your camcorder. Determine whether you turn your image stabilization on with a physical button (some camcorders illustrate this with a shaky hand icon), or whether you have to browse the camcorder menu to find the feature.
